Established in 2014, Vaibhav International began with importing quality Long Grain Basmati Rice. Vaibhav International now distributes spices to stores all over Australia.

What is Basmati?

Basmati is a variety of long, slender-grained aromatic rice which is traditionally from the Indian subcontinent. Basmati derives from Sanskrit (बासमती, bāsamatī), Hindi (बासमती, bāsmatī), literally meaning “fragrant”.
It is a long-grain rice that is characterized by a light nutty flavour and floral aroma. It is popular in rice pilaf and as a side dish on its own for curries.
